Pain caused by the crack in the dental filling

In hi.dental we`ve had a patient with an insignificant but constant exhausting pain. It was in her upper seventh tooth. We have examined it under the microscope and found out the lateral crack in the dental filling that caused the discomfort.

The point is that the international protocols don't recommend putting a filling that takes up almost the whole chewing surface of the tooth. Sometimes these rules are neglected in an effort to make the treatment cheaper. But in the future, it will cause only new problems. The “treated” tooth aches and needs to be cured again.

The right approach to the molars is to put a stronger and more aesthetic ceramic inlay or a crown.
